Course Description

In the realm of auditing and accounting, adherence to the latest quality standards is not just best practice, it’s a necessity. The recent overhaul of quality standards by the Auditing Standards Board has presented a problem for many firms: transitioning from SQCS 8 to the new SQMS 1, SQMS 2, SAS 146, and SSARS 26. This course agitates the concern by emphasizing the urgency and significance of adopting these new standards, which mandate a system of quality management for all accounting and auditing practices. The solution lies within this comprehensive course led by Jeff Sailor, who employs a unique, engaging style to demystify these new requirements. Participants will learn how to effectively implement these standards, understand the components of a quality management system, and prepare for the anticipated focus in peer reviews, ensuring their practices are not just compliant, but also at the forefront of quality and excellence in the field.
