Fred Stein, CPA, EA

Fred Stein, CPA, EA is the tax director of BQ Tax & Accounting, Ltd, a firm dedicated to working with small and medium-sized businesses helping them grow and thrive. Fred is an expert in accounting, taxation, business, and cash flow management. In 1988, Fred graduated from SUNY-Oswego with a degree in Accounting. He passed the certified public accounting (CPA) exam a few years later while working for a small CPA firm. When Fred relocated to the West Coast, he realized the value of the multistate EA designation which he obtained in 2019. In 1995, Fred ventured out on his own, working as a solo practitioner until 2007, when he acquired the BQ collective. In the years since then, the firm has grown to include multiple offices in three states with a team of over 25 professionals working remotely throughout the country.
