Jeremiah B. Pagano, Esq., LL.M., CEPA, PC is a securities regulatory and corporate compliance attorney at Jacko Law Group, PC. He works with investment advisors, investment companies, broker-dealers, and other financial professionals, helping them keep their businesses compliant. Mr. Pagano advises clients on legal and regulatory risks, bringing a wealth of experience in compliance matters, internal control development, and operational risk management. His knowledge within the financial services industry allows him to address the needs of his clients, allowing them to mitigate risk and grow to their full potential.
Before joining Jacko Law Group, Mr. Pagano was an attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration where he successfully managed and acted as the lead tax attorney for large-scale, community initiatives including the $16 billion Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) emergency relief program. Mr. Pagano has already established himself as a thought leader and has published industry-focused articles in several prestigious publications including Barron’s Advisor and the National Society of Compliance Professional’s (NSCP) Newsletter.
His dedication to his clients’ ongoing success has earned him recognition, and he was named one of the SD Metro’s 2023 40 Under 40. He was also the recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2021 “Ike” Award. This Most Valuable Player award was given to Mr. Pagano’s entire team for their outstanding performance and dedication to pandemic relief through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. Mr. Pagano founded a Lifestyle Medicine public charity that seeks to empower underprivileged communities through equitable access to wellness programs. He is involved in several community efforts. He is especially committed to Savvy Ladies, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings financial planning education to women, teaching women how to build a secure financial future for themselves which aligns in his belief that a solid financial education can arm women with the tools to protect themselves from financial abuse and exploitation. Mr. Pagano received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the California Western School of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and works with clients to provide a holistic approach to their business needs.
