Meet the Speaker

Mary Jane Hourani, MM, EA, NTPI Fellow

Mary Jane Hourani has been a tax accountant since 1993 and has over 30 years of experience in the field. She earned her Master of Management from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University. In 2005, Mary Jane opened her own tax practice after working for larger firms, where she has since specialized in serving small businesses and individuals. Her extensive credentials include being an IRS Enrolled Agent, which allows her to represent clients before the IRS. She is also a National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) Fellow, demonstrating her advanced expertise in tax resolution.
 
In addition to running her practice, Mary Jane has been an instructor for the Michigan State University Tax School since 2008. She is a contributing editor and author for the National Tax Workbook, widely used by tax professionals. Mary Jane is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
