Course Description
An essential task for any manager is to align the activities of employees with those of the organization. A management control system can ensure that this happens. In the Management Control Systems course, we discuss the nature of these systems, the types of controls contained within them, and how to align the planning, incentive, and reporting functions to make them more effective. The course also covers how to design a management control system, control its cost, make ethical decisions, and several related topics.
